A VINTAGE CHRISTMAS at Wollershiem Winery

One of my favorite Thanksgiving Traditions actually happens over the weekend after, when we gather the troops and head up to Wisconsin so that we can visit one of my favorite wineries. Are you a wine lover? Just because one doesn't live in Napa doesn't mean that there aren't local gems waiting to be discovered. Small local wineries across the country produce some surprisingly delightful wines. My favorite is Nestled on 27 acres in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin. The historic site the charming and lovely Wollershiem Winery was even recognized by wine guru Andrea Immer Robinson.

If you're in southern Wisconsin on Saturday, November 27, 2010 head over to Wollershiem to experience A VINTAGE CHRISTMAS from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.

Taste a variety of Wollersheim wines as they're paired with festive nibbles. Find unique gifts for the wine lover on your Christmas list. From wine gift boxes, to Ice Wine glasses, to Prairie Fumé ties, there are many unique choices. Listen to the carolers setting the mood to kick off the holiday season. Wollersheim winery is a picturesque setting to take your family Christmas card photo either inside or out, so be sure to bring your camera. Take a self guided tour of the winery and view the vineyard.

(The winery is open year round, stop by any time. No admission fee. Open to the public.)
