The Bear Necessities

With all the planning and packing I do before a Disney trip, it really is a major production to leave on vacation, and I’m not alone.  Most of the folks I know attack their visit to Walt Disney World with military precision.  There are bags and day packs, touring plans and spreadsheets, all put together with the greatest detail in order to ensure one can pack in the most fun possible in the time allotted.  But, what if there was no planning?  What if your trip was completely spur of the moment?  What are the things you’d grab if I walked in your door and said “let’s go!”

It is possible to have a great time at Walt Disney World without all of the “stuff”.  You’d never know if when looking in the suitcase I have packed to leave on Tuesday, but the following list, is all I really need.
  • Tickets, Money & ID
  • Smart Phone
  • Prescriptions, Advil & Allergy Meds
  • Sunscreen
  • Camera
  • Walking Shoes
  • Change of clothes
  • Swimsuit (maybe)

  1. IF you're taking your smartphone, you have GOT to take a power charging cord! Once the power dies on the phone, it's only useful as a paperweight unless you can recharge it.

  2. Enjoy the vacation!!!

I'm one of those crazy packers for sure! My hubby always complains about how much I pack so I tried to scale down on our last trip and wound up forgetting a ton of stuff...not again! Back to my old lists :)
