An ever changing food selection 676 focuses on using ingredients from local Midwest farmers put together in an "approachable, organic and sustainable" way. "676 is devoted to practicing environmental wellness initiatives" because they feel guests "need to know where their food comes from, how it is grown and who is growing it". The one small bite I had was full of spectacular bacon flavor with their house hickory smoke, it sat as a spectacular contrast to the bright crisp flavor of the apples and peas, with the acidity of the honey mustard. The honey was even from their own hives and it was winning all around. 676 Restaurant & Bar was the shining star of my evening, and I hope to get to their location soon.
