This Jambo House Studio was decorated the safari style with beautiful hand carved dark woods and African printed fabrics scattered with Hidden Mickeys. Though in the past I've had trouble with feeling there's not enough light in some Animal Kingdom Lodge rooms, this studio with a pool view was bright and airy. The wardrobe offers ample space to hang clothes, and also contains extra bedding an ironing board, iron, and hairdryer. On the wall behind the table under the mirror you can find electrical outlets as well as high speed internet connection.
When staying on the Club level sometimes your view is obstructed by the thatch roofline. In my opinion the pool view is much lovelier from the 6th floor than the savanna view. Inside the room the Queen sized bed is comfortable and plush with ample pillows. On the Club Level you receive nightly turn down service with chocolates on your pillow. The comfortable sofa pulls out for to a double bed for additional sleeping space. This particular AKL Studio is designed to sleep four people. If you enjoy the bed and bedding, they can be purchased for home through a brochure that is left in your room.
All DVC Studios have a small kitchenette that has a sink, microwave, dorm fridge, coffee pot, some glasses and paper plates. It's really not enough space to cook in and storage is slim, however, it's a good size to keep leftovers and some soada for the middle of the night. Since we had let the resort know we had a celebration, there was a lovely surprise gift waiting for us upon arrival.
DVC Studios have standard Hotel Bathrooms. H20+ Aquatics is the standard line of toiletries provided by Animal Kingdom Lodge. If you are staying on Club Level toiletries are replenished every day. If you are allergic to this line (as I am) feel free to ask housekeeping for something else, there are a couple of options. If you know another Disney hotel brand that you can use, they will send someone to pick up soaps for you that you from that hotel. Adorable towel animals greeted us back every night and this little guy even hopped into my suitcase on the way home.
